A Trickling Flow

Running through the heart of the Grand Canyon, is the Colorado River. Scientists have confirmed that the mighty Grand Canyon was created by the Colorado River cutting its way through the rocks. Over the course of thousands (or millions) of years, the Powerful waters of the river shaped the magnificence of the canyon. Yet, what is responsible for the Colorado River’s Power, are the thousands of tributaries that trickle their small portions of water into it. Every drop of water, added from each of the small tributaries, collectively accounts for increasing the amount & power of the water that runs in the Colorado River.

Today’s message is very much the same as the tributaries… for as “older” Christ-followers SHARE their Knowledge, Wisdom & Understanding of Jesus with people of lesser understanding, the “younger” believers can grow their base of understanding exponentially. Through this TRANSFERRING process, the Christian Faith gains speed & power, so that it can cut through the many rock-hard barriers/obstacles of unbelief. When we SHARE The Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone, the mandates of God are fulfilled – for He told us to, “Be fruitful and multiply”. This TRANSFER of “our” understandings of the Gospel with “others”, brings people up close & personal to attaining their own salvation – which always turns out to be to the Glory of God.
