Heart Of Gold

There was a time in the United States (in the late 1800’s), when big money was made of gold & silver.  Today, big money is made of nothing but paper.  So, think about it: If money happens to go through a fire, which type of money would survive – gold or paper?  Yeah!…  Look, if money could be seen as our hearts, then which type of heart is going to survive the fires of this world – gold or paper?  Isn’t it true that shattered & tattered paper, is very delicate & falls apart when it is handled?  Likewise, those who have a broken & delicate heart, will struggle greatly in this life. Our sins do nothing but corrupt & destroy our delicate, paper, hearts!  What we all need is a “heart-transplant”; we need a NEW heart, that comes with a NEW spirit.  Only God can give us the heart-transplant that we all need.  But getting it means: we have to do the work of turning to Him and pursing Him for it!
